Terms of Service

Important rules for using CharaHub.

Article 1 (Definitions)

The following terms used in these Terms shall have the meanings set forth below.

    "Repository": A collection of information posted by a user, such as character name, description, images, generation parameters, and license settings.

    "Post Assets": A general term for images, settings, prompts, model data, etc., uploaded by users to the Service.

    "Fork": The act of creating a new repository based on an existing one, inheriting its settings and identity.
  • 4
    "Usage Report": A mechanism to report character usage to the poster through provided features and mutually confirm it.

Article 2 (Ownership of Rights)

The copyright for repositories and post assets posted to the Service shall belong to the user who made the post (hereinafter referred to as the "Poster").

Users shall grant the Operator a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive right to use (including reproduction, adaptation, public transmission, etc.) within the scope necessary for the operation, improvement, promotion, and smooth provision of the Service.

Article 3 (Handling of AI-Generated Content)

For post assets generated using AI technology, the Poster shall guarantee the following matters.

    That they were involved in the generation process and have legitimate authority to post the relevant asset.
  • 2
    That it was not generated by inputting prompts for the purpose of unfairly imitating or infringing on the specific copyrighted works of others.

    If the AI generation recipe (prompts, etc.) is made public, that it does not contain the confidential information of third parties.

Article 4 (Compliance with Licenses)

When users use the characters or assets of others, they must strictly comply with the Creative Commons license specified by the Poster and the Service's unique restriction flags (R-18 usage, AI training permission, etc.).

Article 5 (Prohibited Acts)

Users shall not perform the following acts when using the Service.

    Posting existing copyrighted characters or the works of others without legitimate authority.

    Acts of impersonating other users or existing persons or organizations.
  • 3
    Posting content that is contrary to public order or excessive violence.
  • 4
    Acts of excessively searching or scraping the Service's servers, networks, or data, putting a load on them.
  • 5
    Other acts that the Operator deems inappropriate.

Article 6 (Disclaimer)

The Operator shall not be liable for any trouble that occurs between users or between users and third parties. Furthermore, the Operator shall be exempt from liability for any damage caused to users arising from the uncertainty of AI generation technology (undetermined rights relations, non-uniformity of generated objects, etc.).

Article 7 (Operational Authority and Deletion)

If the Operator determines that there is a suspicion of a violation of these Terms or infringement of intellectual property rights, the Operator reserves the right to make the repository private, delete it, or restrict the use of the account without prior notice.

Article 8 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms shall be interpreted based on Japanese law. If a dispute arises in connection with the Service, the Tokyo District Court shall be the exclusive agreed court of first instance jurisdiction.
